                           Whats it do?

   This little baby will install a new start page for your Internet Explorer 
browser. It is a humors copy of Micro Softs 404 page not found error 
page. Please note the page contains foul language. If your a Netscape
user you will have to manualy enter the page through the Netscape 
properties setup.

 The install setup will create icons in the start menu,
              1) to manually open the page
              2) to uninstall the install   

    It will also change the registry entry which points to the start page.
(only for Internet Explorer)

Files are installed by default to folder "C:\Program Files\404page\"

     You can also set it to be your startup page in the browsers properties 
pages.

  Please note that I did not create the .gif image used to make the html 
document. The html and install creation are mine.

                       Required legal denial of responsability

     Nothing this program will do should cause any system Problems,  but 
as with any install there is a chance problems could occur.  The install of 
404page.exe was tested on Win95/98/2000  with no bugs noted.  Since use of 
this program is free the person who installs '404page.exe' assumes the risk of 
installing this Program. 
i.e.: frustrated, Pissed off,  embarrassed, ex friends or co-workers

                 HOW TO UNINSTALL        Fake 404 page not found

         There is an uninstall option. From your desktop task bar Click `Start`
 then `Settings`  then `Control Panel` then select `Add/Remove Programs`.
Now scroll down the list till you get to 404page and double click to uninstall.
                                             OR
     Just use the short cut created on your Start Menu when you install the 
program to uninstall it.
